Like weed and ice, the drug mafia has introduced a new drug called “shroom” in Karachi, Aaj News reported.
As per the report, the drug called “shroom” is prepared by mixing weed and ice, which is used in the form of capsules and cigarettes.
This drug was earlier available in Islamabad, Lahore, and other Pakistani cities, but now Karachi has become its biggest market.
Investigative sources claim that “shroom” comes from China. This drug is being provided in parties and clubs, to provide a new type of drug to the youth and party participants.
The price of “shroom” is Rs 22,000 per gram, and three cigarettes or six capsules can be made from one gram.
“During the investigation, the name of its main dealer Shah Fahad, who is highly wanted by the police, has come to light. The recent arrests of Sahir Hassan, Faizi, and Ali Khan have reduced the supply of shrooms, but the business of smuggling and selling drugs continues,” the report added.
