LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has scheduled a plea for hearing on 15 January by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz seeking to remove her name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
A two-member LHC bench headed by Justice Tariq Abbasi will hear the case, earlier the bench hearing the case was dissolved due to Honorable Justice Ali Baqir Najafi’s vacation.

While the federal cabinet decided on December 24, last year, not to remove Maryam Nawaz’s name from the Exit Control List.
During its session conducted under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the federal cabinet had decided not to remove the name of Maryam Nawaz from the no-fly list while approving the sub-committee proposal.
In her petition, the leader of the PML-N said the LHC had ordered the federal cabinet to decide to remove her name from the ECL, but the government did not remove her name from the no-fly list.
