LAHORE: Former Test captain and one of the greatest batters of Pakistan Zaheer Abbas is in a critical condition and fighting for life.
Zaheer Abbas has been in the intensive care unit of a London hospital after suffering from various illnesses, a private media channel reported.
According to the report, Zaheer Abbas, 74, is undergoing treatment at St. Mary’s hospital.
Known as The Asian Bradman, the former ICC President had suffered from Covid-19 before his arrival in London from Dubai. Since then his health has not been improved. Zaheer Abbas has been on dialysis for the past three days and he is also suffering from pneumonia.
The family of the legendary cricketer has requested fans to pray for Zaheer’s recovery.
74-year-old Zaheer Abbas had played some memorable innings for Pakistan in his time. He represented Pakistan in 78 Tests and 62 ODIs in his career.
