LAHORE: The Lahore police have registered a fresh First Information Report (FIR) against prominent TikToker Kashif Zameer for allegedly threatening a Karachi-based official of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) with “serious consequences.”
The case was lodged at the Mozang police station following a formal complaint by CTD official Dost Muhammad Khan.
According to the FIR, details of which are now available in public domain, the accused allegedly issued death threats to the complainant in an attempt to pressure him into withdrawing a pending legal case.
The dispute reportedly stems from a financial transaction in which Zameer allegedly took 1.94 million rupees from the official under the pretext of facilitating travel to Italy. The complainant stated that the matter is currently under trial with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and it was in the context of this investigation that the accused allegedly resorted to intimidation.
The current FIR has been registered under Section 25D of the Graft Act 1885.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is not the first time the social media personality has faced legal scrutiny.
The police report notes that Zameer was embroiled in a similar controversy approximately 18 months ago, involving the misappropriation of millions of rupees, for which a case was registered at the Gulberg police station.
Furthermore, in April 2025, another case was registered against the TikToker at the Kot Lakhpat police station. That case was initiated on the complaint of one Imtiaz Khan and filed under provisions pertaining to a breach of trust.
