Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved the construction of the Korangi Crossing.
Syed issued the directives and directed the local government department to complete the project within a year.
Murad Ali Shah also maintained that besides Korangi Crossing, the project of Hub Canal rehabilitation would also be constructed in a year.
He issued these directives during the meeting at the CM House which was held to review different projects planned to be launched in the city.
The chief minister said, “There is a need that a bridge should be constructed at Korangi Cause.” He added, “The existing causeway submerges during heavy rains and so the people face serious problems.”

He said and added that with the construction of a bridge 28 percent population of Landhi and Korangi would be facilitated.
The local government official said that construction of six-lane bridge would cost around Rs5 billion and would be completed within two years. The CM directed the local government to complete it within a year and start its work on top priority basis. “I would provide you funds, you start tendering,” he said.
