LAHORE: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran  Khan has spoken of, what he called, a plan to stage a mock fight when he arrived at the Judicial Complex on Saturday, and to pretend his death as an accident.

His comment came just a day after he ‘exposed’ a plan of walking into the ‘death trap of Judicial Complex’ in Islamabad.

He had traveled all the way from Lahore to Islamabad on Saturday to appear before District and Session Judge Zafar Iqbal in a bit to meet the deadline of his arrest warrant in Toshakhana case. He however couldn’t make it to the courtroom due to excessive deployment of security personnel and their pickets from Motorway Toll Plaza till the main entry point of Judicial Complex, followed by massive tear gas shelling at his vehicle, and workers and supporters.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Imran Khan posted a video with a statement, saying “The scenes I was confronted with as I entered the gates of Judicial Complex. Let there be no doubt that this force along with the ‘Unknowns’ – namaloom afraad – were there not to put me in jail but to eliminate me by staging a mock fight & pretending my death was an accident.”

In the second video embedded in the same tweet, his vehicle could be seen retreating after failing to make entry into the premises of Judicial Complex, followed by tear gas shelling and stone pelting.

Imran Khan said “Allah, the Greatest Protector, had other plans.”

The same video was earlier posted by former climate minister Zartaj Gul, who also called it a ‘planned death trap’, adding that “Those were the moments when heartbeats of the entire Pakistan had stopped, millions of mothers were praying to Allah Almighty with only one dua, May Allah protect Imran Khan. “

It was planned death trap.
