ISLAMABAD: Kerosene oil prices have increased in Pakistan after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) raised the rate by Rs 8.70 per litre.
According to an official notification issued by OGRA, the kerosene oil prices has been set at Rs 280.70 per litre, compared to the previous rate of Rs 272 per litre.
Following the increase, consumers will now purchase kerosene oil at the revised price of Rs 280.70 per litre across the country.
It is worth noting that the federal government recently announced changes in petroleum product prices for the upcoming week. Petrol prices were reduced by Rs 4 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs 377.78 per litre.
Meanwhile, diesel prices remain unchanged at Rs 380.78 per litre.
Earlier, on May 29, 2026, the prime minister had announced a reduction of Rs 22 per litre in petrol and diesel prices.
Due to regional conditions, petroleum product prices had previously surged to record levels in Pakistan, prompting the government to introduce subsidies for public transport, goods transport, motorcycles, and rickshaws.
