ISLAMABAD: All over the world, including Pakistan, especially the oppressed Kashmiri people living on both sides of the LoC are celebrating the Self-Determination Day against India today.
According to the details, the United Nations Security Council recognized the right of self-determination of the oppressed Kashmiris on January 5, 1949, and gave the Kashmiri people the right to decide their own future through a referendum.
In commemoration of the Security Council resolution claiming the right of self-determination to the Kashmiri nation, under the All-Party Hurriyat Conference, Kashmiris residing in various countries around the world including Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, and India are celebrating Self-Determination Day. It is celebrated every year.
Kashmir is the artery of Pakistan. The people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir believe that India’s occupation of the Kashmir Valley is illegal, during which the Indian Army imposed the worst curfew in human history on August 5, 2019, and stripped Kashmir of its state status.
The struggle of the people of Jammu and Kashmir is adorned with the enthusiasm of the oppressed Kashmiris, their yearning for freedom and the slogans of Kashmir Banega Pakistan, in which the blood of the martyrs of Kashmir has continuously been added for more than 70 years. The Kashmiri nation will continue to gain independence from India.
