Nation stands still in solidarity to mark ‘Kashmir Hour’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan observed ‘Kashmir Hour’ between 12pm to 12:30pm today throughout the country today to show solidarity with innocent Kashmiri people being terrorized by the BJP government.

The national anthem of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) were played to mark the ‘Kashmir Hour’. Pakistan and AJK flags were distributed among the public.

Sirens were blared, traffic was halted after a comprehensive plan was formulated by all deputy commissioners of the country for staging demonstrations against the Indian government’s illegal actions and gross violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.

Rallies were planned after Friday prayers. There were special sermons and prayers for Kashmiri people during the Friday prayers.

People in Islamabad observed 'Kashmir Hou'

Both the anthems were aired on all television and radio channels. All across the country people came onto roads from offices, houses, markets and malls, to gather in nearby streets and chant ‘Kashmir Banega Pakistan’.
A day earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had asked people to come out on Friday between 12pm and 12:30pm to send a message to the people of Kashmir that Pakistan stands by them and against Indian goverment’s fascist oppression.
