The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that cold and dry weather will continue to prevail over the provincial capital for the next 24 hours.
According to the latest advisory, winds are expected to blow from various directions at speeds ranging between 5 and 20 kilometers per hour, maintaining a chill in the air throughout the city.
Temperature and Humidity Trends The city recorded a minimum temperature of 11.5°C today. Forecasters expect the mercury to rise to a maximum of 25°C to 27°C during the day.
This follows yesterday’s maximum recorded temperature of 25.8°C.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, the minimum temperature is expected to hover between 10°C and 12°C. Humidity levels over the next 24 hours are projected to fluctuate significantly, ranging from 20% to 70%.
Current Visibility and Observations Earlier this morning, humidity was recorded at 60% with visibility extending to 4 kilometers. These conditions indicate a persistently dry atmosphere, which may cause discomfort for some residents.
In light of the ongoing cold spell, the Meteorological Department has advised citizens to take precautions and wear light, warm clothing to protect themselves from the dry winds.
