KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the port city may experience a rise in temperature starting today (Monday), following several days of cloudy weather.
According to the PMD forecast, the city’s “heat intensity” is expected to increase, leading to hot and muggy conditions over the next 24 hours.
The forecast also mentioned that northwesterly winds are blowing at a speed of 18 kilometers per hour and that sea breezes in Karachi have ceased.
Moreover, the Met Office reported a minimum temperature of 30.4°C. Humidity levels are anticipated to reach 73%, with the maximum temperature likely to rise to between 35°C and 37°C.
