The Met Office announced on Friday that Karachi is expected to experience mild to moderate rainfall starting from July 29.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz informed a private news channel, “The monsoon winds currently over the Indian coast of Gujarat are anticipated to move into Sindh by the end of July.”
Sarfaraz explained that this system is likely to bring thunderstorms and significant rainfall to the city.
According to the Met Office, rain is forecasted to begin in Karachi on July 29 or 30 and continue intermittently until August 2 or 3, with the possibility of moderate to heavy showers in various parts of the city.
During this period, the maximum temperature is projected to range between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius. The forecast also indicates that sea breezes will persist over the city for the next few days.
