A Karachi restaurant was vandalized by an unknown mafia, according to a report posted on the café’s social media pages.
On September 29, 2025, Cafe Little Karachi was attacked by a mob of nearly 50 individuals. The cafe’s owners stated the attack was politically motivated and retaliatory, occurring after they refused to pay extortion money to corrupt officials.

“Last night at approximately 4:30 AM, our restaurant, Cafe Little Karachi, was violently attacked by a group of nearly 50 individuals linked to the corrupt mafias of KMC, TMC, and their associates. They vandalized our property and looted more than half of the essential items we rely on to operate.”
The post further read, “It is important to note that this so-called “operation” targeted only Cafe Little Karachi, while all other restaurants and shops in the vicinity were left untouched.”

The assailants, who the owners linked to corrupt mafias within the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Town Municipal Corporation (TMC), vandalized the property, looted equipment, and damaged furniture. Unlike neighboring businesses, Cafe Little Karachi was specifically targeted for its refusal to cooperate with unlawful demands.
The café assured they will not surrender. They will continue to stand firm for their right to work honestly and serve our community.
In response to the attack, the owners of Cafe Little Karachi posted a message on social media vowing to rebuild and not surrender to corruption.
However, this incident has temporarily closed the café for few days.
The incident has highlighted the challenges faced by local businesses from corruption and extortion.
