Karachi assault case: DIG writes to IG for Shah Zain Marri’s arrest

DIG South Asad Raza has written a letter to IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon requesting the arrest of Shah Zain Marri, the prime suspect in the assault of a citizen at Karachi’s Boat Basin along with his guards, as reported by national media. 

According to details, In the letter to IG Sindh, DIG South Asad Raza stated that the Balochistan government should be contacted for Shah Zain Marri’s arrest.

The DIG mentioned in the letter that Shah Zain Marri, along with his guards, assaulted a citizen on February 19. Five of his guards have been arrested, while Shah Zain Marri fled to Balochistan after the incident.

The letter to IG Sindh also states that Shah Zain Marri is originally from Kohlu, and the Balochistan government should ensure his arrest.

Meanwhile, sources in the Balochistan government have stated that Sindh police have not yet contacted them regarding Shah Zain Marri’s arrest.
