ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League leader Javed Latif has revealed that the government was forced upon his party, implying PLM-N struck some sort of deal, albeit unwillingly.
“We are week, that’s why we are in the government,” said the former federal minister while talking on a private TV program “The government was forced upon us.”

Mr Latif’s comment has invited quite a humorous reaction from twitterati, with PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry quipping “They were compelled [emoji].”

Javed Latif has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. Last month, PLM-N’s federal minister held a press conference at PTV Headquarter in the federal capital in which he accused Imran Khan of promoting secularism and creating chaos in the country. He had accused the PTI chairman of attacking the basic principles of Islam and supporting the Ahmediyya community during his tenure.
