Ishaq Dar to share details of budget for IMF program’s revival
ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan will share the details of the upcoming budget with the International Monetary Fund to restore the IMF program.
According to the details, speaking during a private TV program, Ishaq Dar said that the IMF has asked for some other things. “They are also ready to give, they need the details of the budget, we will provide them,” he said.
Earlier, the IMF had stopped the $1.1 billion of $6.5 billion total expansion fund to Pakistan in 2019 in November. The finance minister said that we want the IMF to clear the ninth review before the budget.

Ishaq Dar, highlighting the precarious situation of the country’s economy, said that the budget will be presented in early June, and all the conditions for the IMF review have already been fulfilled.
It should be noted that earlier Dar said that all analysts will be proved wrong, IMF or not, Pakistan will not default. International organizations should refrain from talking about Pakistan’s default.
Addressing a function 18 days ago today, Ishaq Dar said that promises of financing from friendly countries will be fulfilled soon. “End world politics with our country. Analysts are bent on making Pakistan default,” he said.
