India is happy with destruction of Pakistan's economy: Shahid Khaqan

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan does not look at the situation in the country.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that India is happy with the destruction of Pakistan’s economy. “When India is happy with our weaknesses, why do not we strengthen the country?” he said.

He said that the position of the opposition parties is the same. “The production order is my right,” he said by adding, “Today the parliament is paralyzed.”

Did he say that for what purpose was the physical remand of Shehbaz Sharif taken? Earlier, the PML-N leader had said that if the federation was attacking the province, how could justice be expected there? he asked.

Talking to media, the PML-N leader said that false cases were being made against us, adding that cases were being made against the government and NAB.

The former prime minister said that the country could not function without justice. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said, “Ahsan Iqbal and I appeared again today. My case was halved. It has been two years since the case of Ahsan Iqbal but NAB has not been able to decide what the cause is yet.”
