ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan arrived at the residence of journalist Arshad Sharif who was murdered in Kenya in what has lately been reported as a ‘case of mistaken identity’.

Islamabad based sources told MM News that on this occasion, the mother of slain journalist told Imran Khan that his son made sacrifice of his life for this motherland. Imran Khan promised that the sacrifice of Arshad Sharif would not prove to be in vain.

He expressed his heartfelt condolences over the tragic murder of Arshad Sharif, and offered prayers for the departed soul.
Minutes earlier, Imran Khan took to Twitter and demanded a judicial investigation into the murder of Arshad Sharif. He said Arshad Sharif who paid the ultimate price for speaking the truth – his life. He said Arshad Sharif had to leave the country and be in hiding abroad but he continued to speak the truth on social media, exposing the powerful.
