Important press conference to be held in Rawalpindi today

RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor is scheduled to hold an important press conference today.

According to ISPR, the spokesman of the Pakistan Army will hold a presser at 3 pm in Rawalpindi.

Major General Asif Ghafoor will brief about the Core-Commander Conference held on Tuesday.

The national security condition, issues in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) will be discussed during the meeting.

Earlier on Tuesday, a Corps Commanders’ conference was held at the GHQ in Rawalpindi. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa chaired the conference and reviewed the overall country’s security situation.

The meeting was continued until seven hours in which key important matters of national security came under discussion. The internal and external security of the country was discussed with detail during the meeting.
