ISLAMABAD: An Accountability Court has extended the hearing of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in the contract of the illegal contract till 13th February.
Accountability Judge Azam Khan conducted the hearing in which he adjourned the case hearing as Yousuf Raza Gilani skipped the hearing.
Moreover, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) approved filing corruption cases against former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and others in the same case that included former secretary Information Technology Farooq Awan, former principal information officer Muhammad Saleem, and Syed Hassan Sheikh.
According to NAB, the accused allegedly misused their positions to illegally grant an advertising contract in violation of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules. Such misuse caused a loss of Rs129.07 million to national funds.
