KARACHI: A burglary case has been reported in the metropolis where an unidentified suspect broke into a flat in Federal B Area’s Al Noor Society, Block 18, and stole Rs300,000 in cash, a gold chain and a ring before fleeing the scene.
According to police, the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Samanabad police station.
Head Muharrar Imran said the initial investigation into the Federal B Area burglary showed that the suspect entered the flat and took cash and gold ornaments from a cupboard in one of the rooms.
The suspect reportedly remained inside the flat for around 10 minutes before leaving after committing the theft.

CCTV footage shows the suspect entering the building alone and leaving the flat after some time. Police said the suspect’s face and appearance were captured on camera, and efforts are underway to identify and arrest him.
After receiving information about the burglary, the Crime Scene Unit reached the location and collected important evidence. Police are also obtaining footage from other CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding area to help trace the suspect.
Further investigation into the burglary is underway.
