IHC to hear petition against JUIF's anti-govt march today
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear a petition against the anti-government Azadi March of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) today.
A single bench of the high court comprises of Chief Justice Athar Minallah while hearing the petition directed the deputy commissioner of the capital city to maintain law and order.
The single bench remarked that the permission for the sit-in would not be granted if the party did not apply for it.
On Monday, the petitioner challenged JUI-F’s Azadi March, He prayed the court that protesters should be limited to the allocated place as it could affect the routine life of the local residents of the federal capital.

The anti-government March announced by the JUI-F is scheduled to take place on 27th October.
JUI-F’s Azadi March was announced by its chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on 3rd October against the government that would culminate in Islamabad.
