A response to Veena Malik’s former husband Asad Khattak’s plea filed against the transfer of his two minor children to Pakistan has been submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In its response, the Foreign Ministry has dubbed Asad Khattak’s petition contrary to the facts. According to the response, the foreign ministry issued a passport to the children of Veena Malik as per Pakistani law.
Asad Khattak filed the petition with a controversial matter, the written reply further reads. The ministry has also prayed to the court to dismiss Asad’s plea.

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the case filed by Khattak. The court also directed the ministry of foreign affairs to provide a copy of its response to Asad Khattak. The court adjourned the hearing till next month on 20th April.
Veena Malik ended her three-year-old marriage with Asad Bashir Khan Khattak after a family court here granted them divorce. According to the insider, the differences between the two started when Veena resumed working in showbiz.
“They started fighting a lot when she began participating in the entertainment industry again,” added the source. The couple has two children together, Abram and Amal.
