ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court has ordered the release of the senior central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former federal minister Asad Umar.
The arrest of Asad Umar was carried out under the MPO. Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the case regarding the provision of details of the charges and the arrest. PTI lawyer Babar Awan appeared in court.
The High Court remarked that it has reserved its decision in the two cases in which bail was sought. Leader PTI Asad Umar should submit an affidavit, if there is a violation, forget the political career. The court ordered the release of Asad Umar.
The court directed that Asad Umar also delete his Twitter messages. The High Court remarked that unless the PTI leaders hold a press conference, they are not going to leave it. Babar Awan said that he will not hold a press conference.

Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb remarked that Asad Umar should immediately delete his two tweets. Babar Awan said, “Although this is news, the order will be obeyed. Order the Hon’ble Judge Asad Umar to appear before this court.”
Honorable Aurangzeb remarked that the cases against Asad Umar are in front of him. “If I make an order, I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. Babar Awan said that we want to be given two days. Released but will surrender to the concerned court,” he said.
Babar Awan said that there is a desire for protective bail in criminal cases. The court remarked that we asked Shah Mehmood Qureshi to submit an affidavit as well. It was that they would not violate Article 144.
