Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has rejected the petition against Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman for hate speech against institutions and government.
Chief Justice of the IHC, Athar Manullah heard the petition against JUI-F Chief. It was filed by Advocate Shah Jehan in which he maintained that Maulana Fazlur Rehman tried to influence the people against State Institutions.
The court declared the petition against Maulana Fazlur Rehman as invalid for hearing.
It is not the first time the court has rejected the petition against the JUI-F Chief, last week the petition against Fazlur Rehman’s anti-government march was also dismissed by the court.
The Islamabad High Court on 16th October dismissed all petitions against the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) anti-government ‘Azadi March’ and remarked that no court in the world can abolish the right of demonstration.
Earlier on 3rd October, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman announced an anti-government ‘Azadi March’ that would take place in Islamabad on 31st October.
