India was bowled out for 247 runs in their Women’s World Cup 2025 clash against Pakistan on Sunday in Colombo.
Pakistan had won the toss and opted to field first.
The match at R. Premadasa Stadium was interrupted twice due to a swarm of flies and bugs, forcing players off the field. The second delay lasted around 15 minutes, during which ground staff applied pest control spray to clear the field.
With the bat, Harleen Deol top-scored with 46, narrowly missing her half-century. Jemimah Rodrigues (32), Pratika Rawal (31), and Smriti Mandhana (23) all got off to promising starts but failed to convert them into big scores.
Pakistan’s Diana Baig took 4/69, while captain Fatima Sana and Sadia Iqbal grabbed two wickets each.
