ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Wednesday said that the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Indian occupied Kashmir has caught the attention of the world.
In his tweet, Shah Mahmood Qureshi posted, “Have been reaching out to two to four foreign ministers every day to keep the world updated about the daily atrocities and worsening conditions in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. The humanitarian crisis unfolding has caught the world’s attention.”

Upon the arrival of the foreign minister of UAE and Saudi Arabia, Shah Mahmood Qureshi tweeted, “The UAE and Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministers arrive in Pakistan today to discuss this grave situation while the EU Parliament has called for an end to the curfew in IOJK as has OIC’s IPHRC, in no uncertain terms.”

The foreign minister said that we would continue to keep the world informed about Indian occupied Kashmir and fight for their rights through every possible diplomatic avenue.
In another tweet, Qureshi added, “The situation in IOK is a developing one, with each day under curfew marking the deepening of a terrible humanitarian crisis.”
