KARACHI: The 100 index has reached a new high of 67,000 points due to a boom during business in the Pakistan Stock Exchange this morning.
A positive trend is being seen in the stock market on Thursday, the fourth day of the business week due to which the 100 index is trading at the level of 67,162 points with an increase of 614 points.
Yesterday, at the end of the business day, the 100 index closed at the level of 66,547 points with an increase of 641 points.
Pakistan Stock Exchange on Wednesday also started the business in a positive manner and the 100 index crossed the level of 66,000 at the beginning, during the trading the index increased by another 175 points and the index reached 66,810.
Experts said that due to the privatization of PIA and positive reports in the market, the boom is being witnessed. The market is also recording all-time highs as investor confidence recovers.
According to the experts, a significant increase in investment in the market is being seen due to the acceleration in the negotiations with the IMF and the privatization of the institutions.
