Hospital administration allegedly tampers protestors’ medical reports
RAWALPINDI: The administration of the district hospital has allegedly tampered the medical reports of protestors who were attacked during a demonstration against the Blue World Housing Society in Rawalpindi.
At least eight protesters were wounded on Thursday during the demonstration against Blue World Housing Society outside the press club over the non-allotment of plots.
The younger brother of Blue World Housing Society owner Chaudhry Nadeem Ijaz allegedly attacked the protestors along with his thugs. As a result, almost 8 people were severely wounded.
According to details, the injured protestors have decided to approach the court to form a medical board. One of the victims was seriously injured during the attack. Sources informed that the protestors also have video footage of the injuries.
However, the administration of the hospital allegedly took a bribe from the owners of the society and tampered the medical reports. The hospital administration showed minor injuries in the medical report.
Police have not yet registered a case against the accused involved in attacking the protestors. Earlier on Friday, sources informed that the owners of the housing society got rid of their expensive vehicle from the police station. The accused introduced themselves as senior officers of the intelligence agency and put pressure on the police to release their car immediately.
