LAHORE: The Supreme Court will hear an important case related to the Punjab government today, in which a decision is expected regarding the retention of Hamza Shehbaz as the Chief Minister.
According to the details, the Supreme Court will hear the stand of the parties today for a decision on the issue, PDM, PTI, and PML-N leaders approached the Supreme Court.
The Pakistan Democratic Movement led by PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will file an application for the formation of a full bench of the Supreme Court while the PTI leaders termed the application as malicious.
Leaders of the coalition government led by the Muslim League (N) will also reach the Supreme Court today. Strict security arrangements have been made in the red zone. It should be noted that the Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly had rejected the Q-League votes.

Earlier in the National Assembly, PTI’s Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri also rejected the no-confidence motion against former Prime Minister Imran Khan by giving a similar ruling, but the Supreme Court declared the ruling illegal.
The eyes of every political party including PTI, PML-N, and People’s Party are fixed on the decision of the Supreme Court that may come out today that if the ruling of the Deputy Speaker of PTI was illegal, then the same ruling in the Punjab Assembly.
