Bollywood veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who was hospitalised after he complained of breathlessness, has been discharged from the hospital after several days of treatment for a bilateral pleural effusion.
His family friend Faisal Farooqui shared an update on his health on Twitter. According to Faisal Farooqui, Dilip Kumar is being discharged from the hospital after undergoing treatment for almost a week.

Last year, Dilip Kumar’s brothers Ehsan Khan, 90, and Aslam Khan, 88, both COVID-positive, were admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital for treatment, where they died.
Dilip Kumar, whose real name is Mohammed Yusuf Khan, is considered one of the best actors in Indian cinema. He is best known for his performances in classics such as Kohinoor, Mughal-e-Azam, Shakti, Naya Daur, and Ram Aur Shyam, to name a few. He was last seen in the 1998 film Qila.
