Health ministry announces coronavirus alert in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of National Health Services (NHS), Regulations and Coordination alerted the Disease Surveillance Division and Central Health Establishment to the possible spread of coronavirus in Pakistan.
According to NHS, a notification has been issued in response to the international alert on the virus, which has spread from seafood and animals to humans.
The ministry has directed health officials to investigate persons who may have traveled to China within last 15 days. NHS has decided to form coronavirus prevention counters at all airports.
A new coronavirus has spread around China and three other Asian countries, Symptoms of the deadly virus range from fever, to coughing and difficulty breathing. A vaccine for protection against the virus is yet to be developed. 
According to Chinese newspaper, the virus was first originated in the central Chinese city of Wuhan. China has confirmed 473 cases of coronavirus. The paper claimed that the death toll has risen to nine in China.
