With the passage of time, K-dramas have become popular in Pakistan and when we talk about popularity, 2021’s most anticipated series ‘Vincenzo’ comes to mind which still trends from time to time on Netflix.

Vincenzo, which originally streamed on Netflix in 2021 is surprisingly still trending on the online streaming platform and on Twitter as well. 

Season 1 ended with Vincenzo taking his revenge and flying to an Island near Malta. However, the gold is still in South Korea. This cliffhanger gives the fans hope that Season 2 might take place in the future.

The drama unravels how Vincenzo returns to his native land in South Korea to escape the troubles of Italy. Following his return, he meets a corrupt lawyer, Cha-young. Together they embark on a troublesome journey to find his hidden gold.

What global fans loved the most about the drama was its unique storyline, Vincenzo and Chayoung’s relationship, and how it is not forced or rushed. Typically, the drama consists of 20 episodes, but Vincenzo had 20 amazing episodes. Moreover, what makes this drama so worth watching is that a seemingly small storyline blows up into a much bigger picture.

Will Vincenzo be renewed for season 2?

On November 14, 2022, the drama screenwriter Park Jae-bum attended an event at The Golden Horse Film Master Class held in Taiwan. During the question-answer session, he hinted at the possibility of the second season of Vincenzo.

Reporters at the lecture asked screenwriter Park Jae-Bum if there would be any sequels to his hit dramas, such as The Fiery Priest and Vincenzo. The screenwriter excitedly confessed that he has been considering a second season of Vincenzo. However, no official statement has been released regarding it.
