According to reports, the federal minister for Defence, Pervez Khattak led government committee will be meeting oppositon’s Rehbar Committee in Islamabad.
The minister said that opposition committee is following the agreement that was signed with the government. The minister for Defence is also hoping for the positive outcome of today’s meeting, added sources.
On the other hand, Akram Durrani of Jamiat Ulema-e-Isalm Fazl (JUI-F) said that the Rehbar Committee had put forward its demands and detailed conversation was held in this regard.
Earlier on Monday, the Chief of JUI-F called All Parties Conference (APC) called a meeting to form future strategy for the anti-government march. The meeting was organized at the residence of Maulana.
Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari did not attend APC due to other political commitments. However, the senior leadership of the party attended the meeting.
PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif’s participation in the APC was not confirmed either as he was due to attend party’s Central Executive Committee meeting in Lahor. He was represented in the APC by other PML-N leaders.
