ISLAMABAD: The government has formulated a strategy for the nationwide delivery of the expected coronavirus vaccine.
According to sources, the vaccine delivery strategy will be called Vaccine Administration Plan, which has been approved by the NCOC. Expected coronavirus will provide vaccine storage, nationwide delivery, vaccination staff, and logistics immunization program for delivery (EPI).
There will be special security arrangements for the nationwide delivery of the corona vaccine. Security SOPs will be specified for the Corona Vaccination Campaign. The corona vaccination campaign will be conducted in consultation with the police and the LEAs.
The EPI will notify the security agencies before delivery of the vaccine and a special team will be provided for vaccine transportation. NADRA will provide EPI with a Corona Vaccine Management System consisting of transportation, vaccination, and records.

The vaccine campaign record will be stored in NADRA’s Central Database. NADRA will develop a mobile app to keep a record of the Corona vaccine campaign. An effective communication strategy will be developed before a possible corona vaccine campaign.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has assured the government of Pakistan of an already imminent corona vaccine. The WHO has said it will assist Pakistan in using the corona vaccine.
Pakistan was asked to focus on nine issues related to the expected vaccine. The World Health Organization (WHO) has called on Pakistan to plan ahead for an effective corona vaccine.
The letter sent to Pakistan states that Corona should timely identify specific targets for vaccination. And the nationwide delivery strategy should be clarified.
