Govt approaches Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani to form parliamentary panel for talks with PTI

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani is all set to take steps to resolve the crisis between the federal government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the opposition leaders.

According to the details, Prime Minister of Law Nazir Tarar and the Minister of Railways contacted Sadiq Sanjrani. Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani is considering the proposal of forming a committee consisting of 5 senators from both sides to prevent a confrontation between the federal government and the opposition. In this regard, Asad Umar and Shahzad Wasim have been contacted.

Chairman Senate will also write a letter to the opposition leaders to resolve the political crisis. Federal Minister Ayaz Sadiq has also contacted and consulted with other parties with the aim of creating understanding between the government and the opposition.

It should be noted that before this, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami also took various measures to end the political confrontation between the government and the opposition. Sirajul Haque also met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Imran Khan.
