Google has begun rolling out its new AI-powered photo and video editing tools for the Photos app on Android and iOS.
According to a report from Android Authority, these features are now being made available to users on both platforms.
The updated tools include an enhanced Trim tool, Auto Enhance, Speed tool, and new video presets. The new editing features are designed to provide users with more intuitive controls, featuring larger buttons and clearer labels for common tasks.
Moreover, Google is introducing AI-driven video presets for both Android and iOS. These presets allow users to easily trim videos, adjust lighting, manage playback speed, and apply effects like dynamic motion tracking, zooming in on key moments, and slow motion—all with just a few taps.
Google notes that these updates are “starting to roll out” today, so it may take some time before they are available on all devices.
