Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Wednesday, tracking gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold increased by Rs900 per tola, taking it to Rs425,036.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs771, reaching Rs364,399, according to the rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the price of gold had fallen by Rs5,600 per tola to settle at Rs424,136.
In the international market, gold prices advanced by $9 to $4,026 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs6,289 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
