Gold prices in Pakistan surged to another record high on Monday, tracking gains in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold rose by Rs10,900 per tola to reach Rs532,062.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs9,345 to Rs456,157, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the price of gold rose by Rs6,500 per tola to reach Rs521,162.
In the international market, gold prices jumped $109 to reach $5,097 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also touched a new all-time high, rising by Rs109 to Rs11,428 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
