Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Tuesday, mirroring gains in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold increased by Rs2,400 per tola to reach Rs459,736, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold climbed by Rs2,058 to Rs394,149.
On Monday, gold had risen by Rs800 per tola, reaching Rs457,366.
Internationally, gold prices increased by $24 to $4,373 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also gained Rs62 per tola, reaching Rs6,965.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
