Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Friday, mirroring the upward trend in the global market.
In the domestic market, the price of gold climbed by Rs3,000 during the day, bringing the per-tola rate to Rs444,462.
The price of 10-gram gold also went up, increasing by Rs2,572 to reach Rs381,054, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Thursday, the per-tola price had dropped by Rs1,700 to settle at Rs441,462.
Internationally, gold prices advanced by $30, reaching $4,221 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also saw an uptick, rising by Rs72 to reach Rs6,072 per tola.
