Gold prices in Pakistan recorded massive increase on Monday, following an upward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs13,300 to reach Rs563,862.
Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs11,402, bringing it to Rs483,420, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Saturday, the price of gold per tola rose Rs10,000 to reach Rs550,562.
Globally, gold prices surged by $133 per ounce to $5,411, which includes a $20 premium.
Silver prices also recorded an increase in the domestic market, rising by Rs188 to settle at Rs10,050 per tola.
