Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, tracking losses in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,800 to settle at Rs537,162.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs2,401, bringing it down to Rs460,529, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Wednesday, the price of gold per tola had already fallen by Rs10,000 to close at Rs539,962.

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $28, taking the rate to $5,144 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a decline, falling by Rs194 to Rs8,810 per tola.
