KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Friday after a sharp fall in the previous session, while silver continued its upward momentum, reflecting mixed trends in the precious metals market.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola (24K) stood firm at Rs483,036, with 10 grams of 24K gold unchanged at Rs414,125. The 22K gold per 10 grams was quoted at Rs379,628, showing no variation from the previous day.

International gold also held steady at $4,605 per ounce, indicating a pause in global bullion volatility.

Silver Prices Continue to Rise

In contrast, silver extended its gains, with per tola silver (24K) climbing by Rs180 to Rs7,509, while 10 grams silver rose by Rs154 to Rs6,437. On the global front, silver advanced to $70.30 per ounce, up $1.80.

Market watchers note that while gold has stabilized after Thursday’s Rs3,500 per tola decline, silver’s consistent rise highlights investor interest in alternative precious metals amid ongoing currency and commodity market fluctuations.
