QUETTA: Quetta Police have safely recovered a seventh-grade student who was allegedly kidnapped from Zhob and arrested three suspects in connection with the incident.
According to police, 14-year-old Barial Khan Mandokhel went missing from Zhob, and news of his alleged kidnapping later circulated widely on social media.
A case was registered under FIR No. 102/2026 at City Zhob Police Station under Section 365 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Following special instructions from Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, dedicated teams were formed to ensure the student’s safe recovery.
Officials told MM News that the operation was carried out under the supervision of SSP Operations Quetta Zia Mandokhel.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Sabir Shah, son of Fazal Shah; Abdul Salam, son of Masho; and Inamullah, son of Bismillah.
The rescued student and the three suspects were shifted from Quetta to Zhob under tight security. Police said further investigation and legal proceedings were under way after their arrival in Zhob.
According to relevant authorities, the suspects are being questioned to determine their alleged involvement in the kidnapping, while investigators are also working to establish the circumstances surrounding the student’s disappearance.
