Glad that Sindh govt doing its job: Ali Zaidi

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Ali Zaidi on Tuesday said that the Sindh government has finally awakened after 11 years to do its job in Sindh’s capital.
In a tweet posted on Tuesday, Ali Zaidi expressed how glad he was with of Sindh government as they have made available resources with the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board.

He said in a tweet, “Glad that the Sindh government wakes up 11 years later to do their job in Karachi. Equipment/human/financial resources are available with Sindh Solid Waste Management Board. Thank you, Nasir Shah.”
He further posted, “Once you are done with Karachi, please also clean Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Sukkur, Larkhana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Ghotki etc as well. They are all part of our great province but the state of affairs is pathetic. I wish u all the luck! #LetsCleanSindh”

Last month, Ali Zaidi, who had launched the campaign “Let’s Clean Karachi” said that it was unfortunate that the Sindh government seemed less interested in cleaning the city than they were in political point-scoring.
Karachi was damaged after the recent spell of monsoon rains in August wreaked havoc on the city exposing its decrepit sewerage infrastructure and ineffective solid waste management.
