MIRPURKHAS: Consul General of Germany Dr. Ruediger Lutz has said that Germany is interested in investing in agricultural and industrial sectors in Pakistan.
Talking to a private channel during a visit to the flood-affected areas in the Mirpurkhas district, the German consul said that we have very deep trade relations with Pakistan. “Germany is an important trade partner of Pakistan, German companies are here in various sectors including textiles, machinery. I have been working for a long time,” he said.
He said that we will try to bring a delegation of German businessmen here in the next few weeks, we are trying to focus the attention of German businessmen here, there are many opportunities for further growth in bilateral relations.
The German consul said that I think there can be long-term cooperation between the two countries in various sectors including machinery, supply of parts for the car industry, and textile and agriculture sectors, for these sectors we are interested in Pakistan.
He said that we feel that it is important to bring more investment in this region because we want to maintain our presence in various sectors in Asia, Pakistan is a country with various opportunities to invest and reap benefits. There are wonderful opportunities to do so.
