Germany has officially introduced a new digital visa platform for Pakistani applicants, simplifying the application process for student and work-related visas.
This transition to an online system targets key long-term visa categories, aiming to enhance efficiency and minimize the delays previously experienced by applicants.
The German Consulate General confirmed that all prior waiting lists have been cleared, requiring new applicants to start their visa applications through the Consular Services Portal.
Those who already hold appointments will proceed under the existing procedures, while new applications will be accepted beginning December 12, 2025.
Prospective students can submit their visa applications at digital.diplo.de/studium, while those applying for employment, training, or jobseeker visas can apply via digital.diplo.de/visa-ewt.
