The Port of Karachi is one of South Asia's largest and busiest deep-water seaports.

Four vessels carrying gasoline, crude oil, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) reached Karachi’s ports in the past 24 hours.

Gulf conflict has intensified into what analysts describe as an “Energy War,” with Iran and regional states targeting key energy infrastructure across Iran, Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, raising serious concerns about global fuel security.

Despite the volatile situation, Pakistani port authorities confirmed the safe arrival of all four shipments, underscoring the country’s ability to maintain energy imports during regional instability.

Among them, MT Sunny Liger brought 25,000 metric tons of motor gasoline from Fujairah, while MT NCC REEM delivered 37,073 metric tons from Yanbu.

Meanwhile, MT Gas Aurora transported 2,590 tons of LPG from Oman, and MT Karachi supplied 73,000 metric tons of crude oil from Das Island.

Together, these shipments provide a major boost to Pakistan’s fuel reserves, helping ensure short-term stability as authorities work to mitigate risks of a potential energy crisis.
