LAHORE: Four members of a family were killed at a home by unknown armed men in the Green Town area of Lahore.
According to the police sources, two armed men, riding on a motorcycle, opened fire on a family in a house in Lahore’s Green Town area. As a result, four members of a family, Ishaq, Abuzar, Atiqa and Husna suffered severe bullet injuries and died on the spot.
The attackers managed to flee from the scene after the committed crime, police said. After being informed police officials rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police have registered a case and started a probe into the killings. On January 31, five people had been gunned down over an old hostility in Sheikhupura’s area of Safdarabad.
Police said unknown armed men, who were riding motorbike had opened indiscriminate firing over a vehicle near Sethwala. As a result, five people were killed.
The deceased was going to fallow a case in a court when they were attacked. It is worth mentioning here, that the clash had claimed 12 lives so far, and a few days earlier, two members of a family had been killed over the quarrel.
